About Us
The Chain Link Services corporate family that includes our convenience store brand, Turnkey Resources, and our restaurant chain brand, In Step Foodservice, has been defined and shaped by the
decades of commercial foodservice industry experience held by principals
Harold Gernsbacher and Karla Lopez. These long time industry veterans identified
a major shift in the needs and expectations of customers. They then took their
35 years of collective knowledge and created an environment that focuses directly
on only those activities that end users find beneficial, leaving behind the majority
of activities that created unneeded costs but not customer value.
Both principals have an extensive background in servicing all facets of the industry.
From schools and hospitals to full service restaurants and convenience stores, they
have completed literally thousands of successful installations across North America
Over the years we have been the recipient of many awards and recognitions. In 1999 the company was honored as the Outstanding Dealer of the Year. In addition, Harold Gernsbacher is a past president of the Food Equipment Distributors Association (FEDA) and has been awarded the Doctorate of Foodservice by the North American Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM).
